Where to go?
Zakopane – is a town in southern Poland and an excellent place to visit any time of the year. Climbers from all over Europe travel to Zakopane to climb in the High Tatras. There are many hiking trails and ski slopes what makes Zakopane a tourism mecca for all seasons.

Morskie Oko (The Eye of the Sea) – is regarded as the most beautiful lake in the Polish part of the Tatry Mountains.
It takes about 40 minutes by car to go from Zakopane to Polana Palenica - the entrance of the Tatras Mountains National Park - and from there you can walk the remaining 12 km or go by horse (a nice guy will take you up there for about 30 zloty).

If you read the following comments maybe you will wish to be there …

"Morskie Oko is one of the most amazing and mesmerizing natural "wonders" of the polish landscape. As you climb the mountains, and look down on Morskie oko, it touches your soul and you feel closer to the spirit of God... I hope to go back there again."
